Krebs Architecture & Engineering, Inc. is pleased to announce that intern architect, Rich Pitts has earned Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) recognition by the U.S. Green Building Council. Rich is the eighth Krebs employee to receive LEED recognition this year. A 2008 graduate of Auburn University, Rich holds a Bachelor of architecture degree.
LEED Professional Accreditation distinguishes building professionals with the knowledge and skills to successfully steward the integrated design and LEED certification process. LEED Accredited Professionals (LEED APs) have demonstrated a thorough understanding of green building practices and principles and familiarity with LEED requirements, resources, and processes. The LEED rating system has five main credit categories: sustainable site development, water savings, energy efficiency, materials selection and indoor environmental quality.
